Getting Involved - Volunteer

IGE is a non-profit company, powered by volunteers. There's not many of us, and we'd love to have more helping hands!

Supporting a tournament team

The tournament teams for each game are the hard-working folks who keep things running smoothly during the tournament. They are referees, scorekeepers, announcers, setup crew...the works!

The tournament teams also have work to do throughout the year to prepare for each upcoming event. Preparing rules packs, reviewing army lists, answering questions from teams - the work doesn't stop when we leave the gaming hall!

If you would like to help out on a tournament team, we'd love to hear from you. We're particularly interested if you have a high level of experience with one of our games at a competitive level, and are extremely well-versed in the rules for that particular game.

We are an English-language event, so fluency in English is important. If you can speak other languages, then that's fantastic - it's always nice to be able to communicate in a native language when discussing fine details of a difficult referee decision.

Offering your skills

As well as running the tournaments themselves, there's an awful lot that goes on behind the scenes to run IGE. Community outreach, website administration, social media, merchandising, financials, sponsor coordination - and much more besides. If you've got skills in these areas, or in any others you think that could help us, we'd love to hear from you.

Get in touch!

Regardless of what you have to offer, please do get in touch, and come work with us to help bring our love of tabletop gaming and all the benefits it brings to communities around the world.
